"Why does a holocaust denier get coverage but a legitimate candidate for President not?"
That’s the question posed by presidential candidate John Cox. I hadn’t heard much about Mr. Cox, so I checked out his site, John Cox for President. He is rock solid on the conservative scale, especially on the border invasion:
While legal immigration is good for America, illegal immigration hurts our economy and strains our public services. Amnesty is not the answer, nor are "guest workers." We need Citizens who want to become part of our nation, learn English and contribute to the economy. I will crack down on businesses that hire - and exploit - illegal labor. We must protect our borders and enforce our laws.
The ultra left media has a flawed agenda. Iranian madmen should not be given national stages. Good men like John Cox should be given an audience. It’s no wonder America is drowning in information and starved for wisdom.
Mr. Cox has just posted a letter to social conservatives. It’s worth a read.

I can answer this one! The nutty holocaust denier is the leader of a dangerous nation who may have nukes in a couple of years. That's why he's NEWS-WORTHY.
In contrast to Obama and even McCain, who have raised MILLIONS of dollars from tens of thousands of supporters, Cox has barely raises a few THOUSAND dollars in over 18 months of heavy campaigning, from mere DOZENS of supporters.
He is not WORTHY of news coverage from liberal, conservative or even neutral reporters, if they still exist.
One is a world leader of international significance (and bad intentions.) The other is an obscure lawyer from Chicago with a huge ego who is among 25 or so other fringe candidates with no elective experience and no chance of winning more than a few hundred votes nationwide.
It's great that he can spout some interesting conservative-sounding rhetoric though some of it - "I want to blow up the IRS builidng" "My wife threw me out of the house, that's why I'm running for president" - are almost as insane as Ahmedinijad's comments.
